Thanks to its open location, our terrace catches nearly every ray of sunshine that reaches the Vondelpark. It’s no coincidence that the terrace at Café Vertigo is known as one of the sunniest terraces in Amsterdam.

With space for around 250 guests, the terrace is generously sized. Yet thanks to the many different corners, seating areas and tables, it always feels warm and inviting. Whether you stop by for a coffee in the morning sun, a long lunch after a walk through the park, drinks with friends in the afternoon or a relaxed dinner in the evening, there is always a comfortable spot waiting.

The recognizable red, orange and yellow parasols add color to the terrace and provide pleasant shade on warm days. From your table you can look out over the greenery, the water and the lively atmosphere of the Vondelpark. Right in the middle of Amsterdam, yet surrounded by calm.

Café Vertigo is located in the historic Vondelparkpaviljoen, an iconic building that has been a meeting place in the park since the 19th century. Our extensive menu offers something for everyone, from breakfast and lunch to drinks and dinner, with great coffee, classic dishes, fine wines, beers and cocktails.
