The name Café Vertigo refers to the film café that opened here in the 1990s, when the Vondelpark Pavilion became home to the Filmmuseum. A beloved meeting place for cinephiles and film professionals. Today, the IDFA Documentary Pavilion resides here, bringing film, culture and hospitality back together under one roof. The name Vertigo once again finds its meaning, now as a lively grand café.
